Boneless breast

Don’t let the name fool you, the Lonely Coward is one succulent juicy boneless chicken breast. All Crimson Chicken is served of course with bread and pickles. We only use premium, all-natural, hormone and antibiotic-free chicken. Dive into the Lonely Coward and pick your heat level for an authentic taste of Nashville hot chicken right here in So Cal. Five heat levels to choose from including country (no heat), mild (a touch of heat), medium (a slap of heat), hot (feel the burn). Or for those living on the edge, the hottest Lonely Coward we offer is the BURRRN, baby burn. Round out the Lonely Coward with Crimson Fries, Mac and Cheese, Potato Salad, Fried Pickles or Crunchy Slaw.

Went during covid and it was packed. They were out of Mac and cheese but we got the crimson sandwich and a free drink with check in. We ordered online to avoid waiting there for 30 minutes. The sandwich was good and would definitely kick your craving for a Nashville hot chicken sandwich. However i thought it was kinda dry and needed more slaw or something else to cut that. The fries were ok nothing remarkable. But for the lack of a wait in comparison to howlins I will bump the 3 to a 4. And just like howlins the service was great. Also a nice surprise that this was right next to the original McDonald's.

I really liked the wings and the tenders. Tried both the country and mild and might kick it up a notch in the future. I like spicy, but not overwhelming so needless to say I am planning to try this place again. I have to be honest that I did not try anything else, but almost wanting to get to this place soon.

This food is pretty good but do yourself a favour by not ordering it through Postmates. It costs way more due to the upcharge, takes really long, and our order was mixed up. Had to reorder. When we finally got what we really ordered:

Tried this spot for the first time, walked in and placed our order at 1:20, there were a few people in there ahead of us but a lot of phone orders being picked up , apparently 15 minutes is a normal wait time as their sign states but they had a hand written one below that saying 30 minute wait.
